Privacy policy

Incrementalist is a free, unofficial leaderboard for Roblox incremental games. We collect as little as we can: there are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking cookies.
Who runs this site
Incrementalist, Ukraine (“we”) is responsible for the personal data described on this page. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].
When you visit
Your IP address and standard request details, such as your browser type and the page you asked for, reach Cloudflare, which delivers this site, and then our server. We use them only to show you the site and to stop abuse. Our server keeps IP addresses for about an hour to enforce rate limits. Cloudflare handles this data under its privacy policy.
Game icons and creator avatars load directly from Roblox's image servers, so your browser connects to Roblox when it shows them. Roblox's privacy policy applies to that.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website.
Games and creators on the board
We show public information from Roblox's public APIs: game names, icons, player counts, visits and likes, plus the Roblox usernames, display names and avatars of game owners and of contributors listed on a game. When a game joins the board, its owner is listed automatically. We keep daily game statistics to show trends and records.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in publishing a leaderboard of public game data. You can ask us to remove you or your game at any time, and we will.
When you send a request
To add a game or join one, you give us your Roblox username, a game, and an optional note. We look the username and game up through Roblox's public API and store:
- your Roblox username, and the user ID, display name and avatar that belong to it
- the game you asked about
- your note
We use these only to review your request. If we approve it, your username, display name and avatar appear on the site, for example on the game and in the Hall of fame.
Legal basis: your consent, which you give with the checkbox on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we'll remove you.
Cookies and browser storage
We don't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. This is everything the site stores in your browser:
| Name | Kind | What it's for | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
actTab | Your browser's local storage | The activity tab you last opened | Until you clear it |
inc-notice | Local storage | That you closed the storage note | Until you clear it |
Local storage stays in your browser; we can't read it, and none of it identifies you. Cloudflare may also set strictly necessary security cookies to tell people from bots; see Cloudflare's cookie list. You can delete all of these in your browser settings at any time.
Who else receives data
- Cloudflare, Inc. delivers the site and protects it from attacks. Its network is worldwide, so this data may be processed outside Ukraine.
- Roblox Corporation, when your browser loads images and when we look up usernames and games.
- roproxy.com, only for lookups when Roblox's API doesn't respond.
- Discord, where milestones such as a game reaching a visit count may be posted. These posts contain only game names, statistics and creator names that are already public on the site.
We don't sell personal data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- IP addresses for rate limiting: in memory, for about an hour.
- Requests: until we decide on them, then deleted automatically 90 days after the decision.
- Listed creators: while they're linked to a game on the board. Once unlinked, their details are deleted automatically.
- Game statistics: kept to show history and records. They describe games, not people.
Your rights
Under the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”, and the GDPR if you're in the EU, EEA or UK, you can ask us to:
- tell you what data we have about you and give you a copy
- correct it
- delete it or take you off the site
- stop processing it where we rely on legitimate interest
- stop using it where you gave consent
Email [email protected] with your Roblox username. We may ask you to show the account is yours, for example by adding a short code to your Roblox profile. We reply within 30 days.
You can also complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or, in the EU, EEA or UK, to your local data protection authority.
Children
Incrementalist isn't made for children under 13, and you must be 13 or older to send a request. If you're under 16, ask a parent or guardian before sending one. If you think a child under 13 has sent us a request, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
